Spelman/Morehouse 2008

October 26, 2008 marked a milestone for the Creyahtion team. Armed with over 20 volunteers and an environmental spirit, the Creyahtion team embarked on its largest challenge to date. As we moved throughout the stands and the tailgate, one could not help but feel the long traditions of these great institutions morph into a new one which includes care for our environment.  The team would meet Dr. Franklin, current president of Morehouse College; Mr. Fonsworth Bentley, Morehouse Graduate and a host of other prominent graduates and students.  We would lke to thank all of our volunteers, the administration of Morehouse College and all who supported the "Green Team" on this great occasion.  If it were not for everyone's effort, this event would have been a bust.  We thank you all, and look forward to working together on our next event.

Political Rally

The environment is a very important part of our lives and we must strive to mantain the delicate balance that we have been able to enjoy throughout our existence on this planet.  As individuals we have the ablility to affect change within our local communities that will greatly impact the way those around us interact with the environment.  Currently one of the most important and exciting political races is taking place and there is much at stake.  One of the main topics of debate is the environment and how it will be handled for the next four years.  It is our duty as good stuards of the environment to make sure that our voices are heard by the candidates running for political office.  As a non-partisan organization, Creyahtion supports no particular candidate, but we do support any ideal set in motion for the betterment of our ecosystem.  This weekend, September 27, there will be a political rally on the campus of Morris Brown.  All those interested should meet at the Morris Brown Gymnasium at 11:00 so we can move as a force toward the rally.  I appreciate your support and realize that non of this is possible without everyones input.  Future generations while thrive as a result of your efforts to keep their planet alive.
